Karen McGirt – Founder & Executive Director

Karen McGirt is the visionary Founder and Executive Director of The Forge Women Commission 4 Christ. Karen is a proud member of Bible Teachers International, in which she serves as a licensed Evangelist under the tutelage of three powerful Apostles (Founder Mary Banks, Michael Thomas, and Kareem Flowers) and her very own husband, Bishop Primes McGirt. She has led many community drives, faith-based Networking events, and homeless outreach programs across Canada and the United States. Karen holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master's degree in Special Education. With over a decade of experience in the education system, she is also a passionate advocate for parents of children with special needs, providing support in group homes, her community, and educational settings.

Guided by her love for the Lord and dedication to serving people, she has spearheaded going into those forgotten communities, simply to allow women to know they are loved and that they are not defined by their past mistakes. The scripture that has been embedded in my heart and keeps me faithful to the call is in James 1:27 " Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world"

Karen offers strategic program oversight, ensuring that The Forge WC4C’s mission continues to empower women in distress, alone and within the reentry system to have a renewed sense of hope and courage to restore and rebuild their futures in Christ!
